Opened in 2009 as the first guesthouse in Kanazawa, it is a small guesthouse with only 3 rooms, based on shared rooms, with a capacity of about 10 people even when the rooms are full.
It is a small old Japanese house in a 140-year-old machiya (townhouse) that used to be a kimono shop. Although it does not have the facilities of a hotel, the staff members are happy to introduce guests to each other and emphasize the at-home atmosphere.
One of the pleasures of the house is "interaction among travelers" and "conversation with the staff", which are not found in fashionable hotels. Since the house is built along the irrigation water, guests also enjoy the soothing sound of the water flowing.
